MAKE WAY FOR THE KIDS! ANIMARE STORY IS BACK

Festival

After the huge success of the past edition, the Sedicicorto International Film Festival animated short movies are back at Sala San Luigi

While waiting for the 9th Animare Film Festival which will take place in Cesenatico in July 2019, the staff of Sedicicorto International Film Festival is very happy to bring back Animare Story, three Sunday afternoons of animated short movies screenings that our young audience will love.

The Sala San Luigi cinema (located in via Luigi Nanni n° 14, Forlì) will be open at 17:00 on Sundays  10th, 17th and 24th March to host this event. The Sedicicorto staff is ready to welcome kids and their families in the cosy atmosphere of this cinema, and to spend a wonderful afternoon together watching some of the best animated short movies from the past cinema season.

After the screening, the viewers are going to be the true characters of the show! The audience will be called to be Animare Story’s panel of judges. Every Sunday, the kids will get a bracelet with three caps on it. After the screening (two every Sunday), the kids will choose their favourite. The one that gets the most votes will be the winner of the day, and on 24th March the three winners will compete for the final victory of the show. Kids will have all time to share their opinions after every movie, showing their talent of future movie critiques.

There will be many surprises in the new edition of Animare Story. Sedicicorto’s favourite is the drawing contest, where our viewers will draw a character: they can choose to draw a character they created themselves, or one they particularly liked from the short movies. The winner will be chosen on Sunday 24th March, and will be awarded! Furthermore, the winner will have the chance to have his drawing published on Sedicicorto’s web magazine (www.kontainer16.com)

The first day of Animare Story is right after carnival week, on 10th March, so our viewers will have another chance of being awarded. Everybody can come to the show dressed up in a costume, and the three best costumes in the Sala San Luigi cinema will be chosen by Gianluca Castellini (art director of Sedicicorto) and Pasquale Zaino (manager of Sala San Luigi). Many amazing prizes await the winners!

The shows are free for kids below 12, while there is a €5 ticket for kids 12 and above. Check the news section on our website (www.sedicicorto.it) or our social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) for further information.
